The car ride back to campus was quiet, everyone’s nerves fraught with anxiety over Austin’s special delivery. I gazed out the window, hoping like hell no one could tell I’d started crying the moment we pulled out of the parking lot.

I was so humiliated. What should have been a perfect, intimate evening with a man I loved had been twisted, turned into something tainted and dirty. Even when I’d been trapped at the cabin, fighting like hell for my life, I’d never allowed Austin to see me as vulnerable.

This was the worst person imaginable seeing me completely open and unguarded. The side only my men were allowed to see. I was so thoroughly disgusted, swallowing down the brunch we’d eaten earlier that threatened to make a reappearance. Griff drove quickly, maneuvering along the two lane road leading back to campus, one hand strangling the steering wheel, the other gripped firmly around my thigh.

Chase and Knox sat right behind us. Chase rubbed my shoulders, trying to massage away the unbelievable amount of tension residing there while Knox remained quiet, seemingly lost in his own head.

I understood. It wasn’t just me in those images. Knox was there too, his most private parts captured in frame after frame. I knew he felt just as fucking violated as I did.

I only hoped this didn’t make him pull away, rethinking what we’d done and where our relationship was headed since Austin decided to add voyeuristic photography to his psycho resume.

Back at the spa, I’d been vaguely aware of Stella calling Agent Bancroft. She briefly explained the situation, keeping the details of the envelope to a minimum, and he’d agreed to meet us at the dorms. Driving by the building, I caught a glimpse of him standing on the stone steps, a dark peacoat hanging from his frame.

Griff parked, and we all filed out, the guys taking up a possessive stance around me as we crossed the lot. Knox led the way, marching with purpose over the concrete while Griff held my hand, our fingers intertwined. Chase wrapped an arm tightly around my waist, and my free hand found its way under the hem of his hoodie, my fingertips meeting his warm flesh.

Letting their touches ground me, we came upon Beau, leaning against a carved pillar at the base of the stairs.

“Well, sounds like you all had quite the afternoon.” He nodded his head in greeting, shooting me a sad smile full of what looked like pity.

But I didn’t want his pity.

I wanted his help.

“Yeah, it was a fucking barrel of fun. Nothing like having some crazy fucker taking pictures of your naked girlfriend to really liven up the day, Gouda Boy.” Griff growled his response, his fingers tightening around mine as he glared at Beau.

I tugged on him, drawing his gaze to mine. “He’s here to help us, Griffin. Remember that.” Griff’s cheeks turned red at the chastising, and he leaned down close to my ear. Although, I had to admit, after the stunt
